An advanced computer vision system was developed that uses animal pose estimation and multiple object tracking to monitor cows in real time. The process includes:

  • Step 1: Identification of body landmarks on each animal

  • Step 2: Association of each cow with its unique ID via chip detection

  • Step 3: Construction of a 3D model to track movements through various gates
